Zachary Joel Hastings, 24, of San Antonio and most recently from Iraan, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, in Sanderson, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at First United Methodist Church in Iraan with Reverend Mike Wright officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Zachary was born on November 17, 1991, in San Antonio, Texas. Zachary was a veteran in the US Army where he served in Afghanistan for 9 months. Zachary loved his children and playing video games. He also enjoyed reading Science Fiction and camping.
Zachary is survived by his wife, Seleah Hastings of Iraan, TX; his son; Elijah Daniel Hastings of Iraan; his daughter, Zoey Renae Hastings of Iraan TX; parents, Nathan and Joy Hastings of San Antonio, TX; his brothers, David Charles Hastings of San Antonio, TX and Eric S. Hastings of Topeka, KS; his sister, Amanda Wallace of Topeka KS, and his grandmother.
