Crane: Vicki LaRue Schenkman, 55 of Crane, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010; and her husband Robert "Bob" Schenkman, 56 of Crane passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010, both at the Crane Memorial Hospital.

Mr. & Mrs. Schenkman will have visitation at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 9am until 8pm. Visitation will also be held in Brady, Texas at the Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Resthaven Cemetery in Brady, Texas with Brian Moore officiating.

Vicki LaRue Early Schenkman was born on August 24, 1954 in Odessa, Texas. She had lived in Crane most all of her life; and she was a Baptist. Vicki retired as a registered nurse from the Crane Memorial Hospital in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Lewis and Lizzie Mae Shaffer Early.

Robert "Bob" Schenkman was born on February 6, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a Navy Veteran. He was retired Pharmacist; as well as a retired school teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Anita Schenkman; and his wife, Vicki.

They are both survived by their two sons, Benjamin Schenkman and his wife Jennifer of Albuquerque, NM, and Joseph Schenkman and his wife Melissa of Midland; a daughter, Michele Cloyd and her husband Don of Katy, TX; four grandchildren, Donnie Cloyd, Makenzie Cloyd, and Johnathon Cloyd, all of Katy, TX; and Joshua Schenkman of Albuquerque, NM. Vickie is also survived by her brother, Ronnie M. Early, Sr. and his wife Deborah of Tulsa, OK; and Bob is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Schenkman and his wife Linda of Houston, TX.

They were truly loved and will be greatly missed.
