Silvia Garcia, 60, of McCamey, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Silvia was born on April 7, 1961, to Joe T. Garcia and Louisa C. Garcia in McCamey.
Silvia was a very sweet, loving kindred spirited lady, that was well known and loved by many. She loved the Lord and loved attending church.
Silvia was preceded in death by her father, Joe T. Garcia and her grandmother, Eusebia Garcia; grandparents Praxedes and Josephina Cobarrubio.
Silvia is survived by her two daughters, Silvia Ann Garcia and Maryann Ortega (Albert); three granddaughters, Kayla, Monique, and Marissa. Her mother, Louisa C. Garcia; siblings, Dora Hendrick, Eva Grogan (Ronnie), Marylou Flores (Anastacio), Joe Garcia Jr., Ruben Garcia (Mary), David Garcia (Gracie), Rena Garcia, and Rosie Garcia-Jaimes (Diego).
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the First Assembly of God Church in McCamey with burial to follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
