Santiago J. Rodriguez, 48, of McCamey, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Upton County.
Funeral services were held at 8:30 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey with Pastor David Rodriguez officiating. Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery.
Santiago was born on December 1, 1964 in McCamey, Texas. He was a member of the Fuente En El Deserto Templo Apostolico, where he served as a Deacon. He had lived in McCamey all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Catarino Rodriguez.
Santiago is survived by his wife, Maria R. Rodriguez of McCamey; his daughter, Biurika Rodriguez of McCamey; his mother, Marcela Rodriguez of McCamey; three brothers, Catarino Rodriguez Jr. and Roberto Rodriguez, both of Odessa, and David Rodriguez of McCamey; a sister, Rosa Aramita Tarango of Imperial; and numerous nieces and nephews.
