Roy Keith Reedy

Roy Keith Reedy January 29, 1963 - Nov 25, 2023 

Roy Keith Reedy, 60, of Odessa, Texas, passed from this earth to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior on November 25th, 2023,  from Lung cancer. A memorial service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church at 207 W 5th in Crane on Tuesday, November 28th at 2:00 pm.

Roy was born in El Paso, Texas, to Kenneth and Gay Reedy on January 29th, 1963. When Roy was 4, the family moved to Crane, Texas, where he and his older brothers Jim and Mike, and sister Debbie were raised in the El Paso Camp. Roy was saved at the Crane Christian Church in 1975 at twelve years of age and graduated with his senior class from Crane High School in 1981. 

Roy was blessed with two children, a daughter, Shelly, in 1988 and a son, Kenneth Cory, in 1989. In the early 1990s, they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for approximately 25 years, where he worked as a master diesel mechanic. Roy’s passions were music, cars, motorcycles, big trucks, and mechanicing. 

Roy is survived by his daughter Ruashell Jakobsen, her husband John, their children Layla and Devlin of Williston, Florida, and son Kenneth Cory Reedy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his mother, Gay Hearn Reedy of Odessa, Texas; Jim Reedy and wife, Diane of St. Marys, Georgia; sister, Debbie Wagner of Odessa, Texas; and brother Mike Reedy and wife, Amy of Midland, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Reedy, his paternal grandparents, Hodges & Viola Reedy, and maternal grandparents, C.T. & Lois Hearn.
