Rosa Lucas Died Jan 16, 2022, in Crane, TX. Rosa was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Fort Collins, CO., to Martina Vasquez Uranga and Gregorio C. Uranga.

Rosa Lucas is survived by her siblings. Margie Baeza, Martina Uranga, Alex Uranga and Lorenza Borders. She is also survived by her husband of 45 years Kermit J. Lucas and her Four children and six grandchildren and their spouses. Son John Cavazos and his wife Rosemary, Daughter Laura DeRosa and her husband David, Daughter Rose Cruz, and her partner Andre Lomack, and Son James Lucas and his wife Heather. Grandchildren; David DeRosa Jr. and fiancé Melissa, Granddaughter Amber Garcia and her husband Robert, Grandson Anthony DeRosa, Grandson Jolson Cavazos, and fiancé Junella, Grandson Jeremy Cruz and Granddaughter Jorgina Cruz.

She was predeceased by her sisters Pauline Enochs and Consuelo Aguilar and Brothers Joe Vasquez, Gilbert Uranga, Gregorio Uranga and Johnny Uranga.

A Memorial Visitation will be at 6PM to 8PM on Feb 18, 2022, at
SHAFFER-NICHOLS Funeral Home,1503 S. Gaston, Crane, TX 79731 (432-558-2525).
At a future date Rosa’s ash will be close to Her beloved Mother in Milpitas CA.

Family and Friends wish to thank the Doctors and Medical Staff at Crane Clinic, Hospital, Fire Department EMS, and Focus Care for the professional care and efforts for caring for Rosa. It was a Blessing for Rosa. She was truly loved and blessed by so many who cared, and she will be missed and always remembered and live in our hearts forever. Thank you for all the years we shared, time to rest in peace beautiful wife and mother.
