Roman Rodriguez, 24, of Crane, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Roman was born on December 13, 1986 in Crane. He had lived in Crane most all of his life. He was a floor hand for Aries; and he was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Geneysis Rodriguez of Crane; his parents, Juan and Carmen Rodriguez, both of Crane; four brothers, Juan Rodriguez Jr. and his wife Mandy, Noe Rodriguez and his fiancé Tawsha, all of Midland, Josue Rodriguez and his wife Elisa, and Marcos Rodriguez and his fiancé Stormie, all of Crane; a sister, Yureyma Lujan and her husband Bobby of Odessa; his grandfather, Celestino Rodriguez of Odessa, his grandmother, Lucia Escontrias, of Precidio; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
