Ricky Lee Foster, 65 of Crane passed away Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Orchard Park Memory Care in Odessa.
He was born January 17, 1950 in Memphis, Texas. Ricky moved to Crane at the age of 8. He married Jacki Turner on September 4, 1971 in Crane. They raised 2 children. Ricky retired from the oilfield in January 2015. In addition to his career in the oilfield, he spent 5 years with Crane ISD. He volunteered with the Crane Jaycees and Crane Youth Baseball, serving as a coach for several years. Ricky also raised Arabian horses, enjoyed going to antique stores and deer and turkey hunting.
He is survived by his wife Jacki, daughter Jennifer and her husband Kelly Robinson and their children Phillip and Sydnee of Midland, TX. He is also survived by his son Justin and wife Becca Foster of McKinney, TX. Also a brother Jimmy Foster, sister-in-law Cathy and 3 nieces, and a sister Dotti Foster all of Odessa, TX.
Services will be held at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane Texas at 10am on Saturday September 19, 2015.
