RICHARD ARCHIE "QUIS" QUISENBERRY
McCAMEY: Richard Archie "Quis" Quisenberry, 73 of McCamey, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the McCamey Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mr. Quisenberry was born on February 24, 1935 in Floyd County, Texas. He was retired for the United States Air Force; and had lived in McCamey for almost 32 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Shawn Quisenberry of McCamey; three daughters, Renee Hoffa and her husband Howard of George West, TX, Tammy Vining and her husband Bobby of Longview, TX, and Rebecca Lehew and her husband Byron of Arlington, TX; three sons, Larry Quisenberry and his wife Mary of Miami, TX, Michael Jenkins of Augusta, Georgia, and David Krystofiak of McCamey; a sister, Orlie Simpson of Lockhart, TX; and 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
