Raquel Garcia Dominguez fell asleep in death on Monday, January 1, 2018, in McCamey, TX at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving family.
Raquel was born on December 14, 1949, in Eagle Pass, Texas to Sabino and Raquel Garcia.
She dedicated her life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 28, 1966, and served a faithful life to Jehovah for 51 years.
On January 1, 1972, she married the love of her life, Erasmo (Lamo) Dominguez Sr. in Del Rio, Texas.
Raquel was a loving wife for 46 wonderful years. She was a cherished daughter, a supportive sister, and a truly devoted Mother and Grandmother.
Raquel was preceded in death by her father, Sabino Garcia.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Erasmo (Lamo) Dominguez Sr.; her children, Erasmo (Mito) (Jolene) Dominguez, Jr., Sara (Rolando) Falcon, and Manuel Dominguez, all of McCamey; a daughter-in-law, Corinna Dominguez of Oregon, Missouri; grandchildren, Justyce and Jovanni Falcon, Joaquin and Janoah Dominguez of McCamey; her mother, Raquel and step father Amauri Rodriguez of Crane; siblings, Oscar (Elvira) Garcia, Yolanda (Alfredo) Hernandez, Irma Gonzalez, and Arturo (Shelly) Garcia, all of Crane. Survivors also include 24 nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in McCamey, Texas.
