Ramon Zamora Sr., 83, of McCamey, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Conroe.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey with Reverend David Snodgrass officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
Ramon was born on June 10, 1928 in Monclova, Mexico. He had lived in McCamey since 1973; and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Ramon was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Zamora in August of this year.
He is survived by four daughters, Maria Esquivel and Cecelia Ybarra, both of McCamey, Susanna Zamora of Del Rio, and Rosa Moon of Alabama; four sons, Ramon Zamora Jr. of McCamey, Benito Zamora of Alabama, Jesse Zamora of Garland, and Rudolph Zamora of Odessa; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
