McCamey: Pomposa Granado Molina, 88 of McCamey, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at her home.
Rosary will be said at 7pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in McCamey. Funeral Mass will be said at 2pm on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCamey with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
Mrs. Molina was born on September 20, 1922 in Presidio, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She had lived in McCamey since 1944. Mrs. Molina enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening as her hobbies.
Mrs. Molina was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Q. Molina on August 23, 2000.
She is survived by her four sons, John Molina and Jose Molina both of Odessa, Henry Molina of Crystal City, and James Molina of McCamey; her daughter, Mary Lawson of San Angelo; two brothers, Felipe Granado of Odessa, and Manuel Granado of McCamey; three sisters, Belsora Valenzuela of Odessa, Elena Garcia of McCamey, and Carmen Wethington of Austin; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
