Pete Foyil, 69, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in Odessa.
As per Pete’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Pete was born on December 11, 1945, in Crane. He had lived in Crane most of his life. Pete was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Army. Pete married Sherry Skinner on January 16, 1981, in Crane. He worked for the US Postal Service, and served as Postmaster in Rankin before his retirement.
Pete loved the Dallas Cowboys and was a loyal avid fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kendon Foyil Sr. and Billie Foyil Ross; his grandmother, Imogene Garrett; a sister, Rhonda Faye Foyil; and a son, Tracy Foyil.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Foyil of Crane; four sons, Todd Foyil, Trent Foyil and his wife Ana, Troy Schuster, all of Lufkin, and Michael Skinner and his wife JoAnne of Sweeny, TX; a sister, Elaine Whatley and her husband Bart of Culleoka, TN; and 14 grandchildren.
