Patrick J. Smith, 40, of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in Iraan.
Patrick was born on November 2, 1978, in Goldsboro, NC. He had lived in Sheffield most of his life. Patrick attended the Mother Holmes Memorial Baptist Church in Sheffield.
Family was very important to Patrick and he enjoyed spending time with them and taking care of his son.
Patrick is survived by two sons, Austin Smith and his wife Lauren of Elko, NV, and Christopher Zachary Smith of Sheffield; his parents Jim and Carol Donowho of Sheffield; his birthmother, Mary Myers of Rendon, TX; sister, Amber Arriaga and her husband Felix of Odessa; step brothers, Michael Donowho and his wife Penni of Sheffield, Davy Shook of San Angelo, and Clayton Donowho of Arlington; step sister, Roxi Donowho of Galveston; two aunts, Cathy Duron and her husband Mark of Arlington, and Annette Wagoner of Sadler, TX; uncle, Billy Wagoner and his wife Teresa of South Maid, TX; two nephews, Cory and Andrew Templeton; and numerous cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the Mother Holmes Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Andy Vanderwier officiating.
