MIGUEL A. ORTIZ
IRAAN : Miguel A. Ortiz, 86 of Iraan, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Pecos County General Hospital in Iraan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Iraan with Reverend Carlos Gomez officiating. Burial will follow in the Restland Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mr. Ortiz was born on May 8, 1924 in Del Rio, Texas. He was a member of the Apostolic Church.
Survivors include this wife, Manuela Ortiz of Iraan; three sons, Miguel Ortiz, Jr. of Del Rio, Manuel Ortiz and Miguel Angel Ortiz both of Iraan; two daughters Nora Ortiz and Gloria Martinez both of Iraan; four brothers, Mario Ortiz, Clemente Ortiz, Raynaldo Ortiz, and Roy Ortiz all of Del Rio; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
