Mary Ellen Douglas, 74, of Crane, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Crane Nursing Center.
Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Faith in Christ Church with Reverends Ellis Lane and Jackie Jeffery officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mary was born on August 9, 1938 in Gilmer, Texas. She was a retired supervisor for Sears. She was a member of Faith in Christ Church in Crane.
Survivors include two sons, Fredie Smith and his wife Laurie of Crane, and One Tafari of Sacramento, California; two brothers, Eddie Jones and his wife Claudette of Odessa, and Roy Jones and his wife Juanita of West Minster, California; four grandchildren, Candice Ellen Smith of Texarkana, TX, Sharida Stacey of Midland, Brandon T. Smith of Canyon, and Brandon Langston of Arizona; four great grandchildren, Darius Phillips, Carlos Phillips, Jakari Stacey, and Mekhi Stacey.
