McCAMEY: Maria Guadalupe Nava, 45 of McCamey, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at her home in McCamey.
Rosary/prayer services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Maria was born on December 12, 1964 in Mexico. She was a homemaker and had lived in McCamey since 1970. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was affectionately known as "Lalo's Boss".
She is survived by her husband, Hilario "Lalo" Nava of McCamey; four sons, Leonel Luna and his wife Crystal, Tomas Juarez, Jesus Daniel Juarez, and Hilario Nava, Jr., all of McCamey; her parents, Cesario and Margarita Juarez of McCamey; two brothers, Rodolfo Juarez and Rigoberto Juarez both of McCamey; and her sister, Mary Bautista also of McCamey; her God Son, Xavian Sanchez of McCamey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
