MAGDALENA CARRASCO
CRANE: Magdalena Carrasco, 74 of Crane, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Crane Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Carrasco and Pete Rueda officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carrasco was born on November 24, 1935 in Barnhart, Texas. She had lived in Crane for 41 years; and was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Israel Carrasco on June 20, 2009.
Survivors include her four children, Jimmy Carrasco and his wife Kerry of Crane, Becky Rueda and her husband Pete of Crane, Nathanael Carrasco of Odessa, and Joann Carrasco Hardeman of Crane; her brother Abel Martinez of Odessa, a sister Mary Pina and her husband Joe of Rankin; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Karena McElhaney, Kayla Carrasco, Julia Carrasco, Amanda Rueda, and Zachary Rueda; 3 great-grandchildren, Mayli McElahaney, Nicolas Rueda, and Micaella Rueda.
