LUCILLE ANNETTE BALKO -
Lucille A Balko, 85, died October 30, 2021 at Manor Park of Midland. She was born February 19, 1936 in Sherman, TX. She is the daughter of Howard and Ruby Cecil, who both preceded her in death.
Lucille graduated from Bells High School. She Married her first husband Virgil Paglusch, who served in the Air Force. Lucille and Virgil had twin daughters Ida and Anna Paglusch, who preceded her in death.
She is also preceded in death by Virgil, who died in 1969.
After losing Virgil, Lucille continued her education at San Angelo State with a accounting degree. She soon met her second husband, Frank Balko of Iraan, TX. They married and lived in Iraan where she worked and retired from Iraan General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Balko.
She is survived by her son Dannie Paglusch and his wife Staci of Pagosa Springs, CO and their children Tyler Brown and his wife McKenzie and Cole Brown. Daughter Judy Hallgren and husband Mike of Las Vegas, NV and their children Danecia Sellers and her husband Bryan, William Mabry, Dawn Hallgren and Brandy Wolf, who preceded Lucille in death. Daughter Debbie Whaley and husband Dean of Amarillo, TX and their children Dion Lott, Dustin Whaley and Damen Whaley. She is preceded in death by her son Allie Balko, who is survived by his wife LaNita Balko of Wickett, TX and their children Allie Jolene Davis and her husband Roy, Jenny McMillan and her husband Michael, Wesley Balko, and Robby Balko and his wife Kristen. She is also survived by her sister Carol Cecil Donowho and husband Jim of Sheffield, TX. She has numerous nieces and nephews and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother James Cecil.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held in honor of Lucille at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at Iraan Cemetery in Iraan, TX.
