Lourdes Tavarez

Lourdes Levario Tavarez, at the age 71, he went to heaven on October 22, 2019. Lourdes was born in La Mula, Mexico on February 11, 1948 to the late Basilio and Enriqueta Tavarez. Lourdes is preceded in death by his sister Juana Tavarez Levario, sister Usebia Tavarez, brother Manuel Tavarez, brother Jesus Tavarez, Luciano Tavarez, grandson Joseph Anthony Tavarez, grandson Jimmy Joe Santiago and granddaughter Yasmine Flores.

Lourdes was a heavy equipment operator and was a jack of all trades. He spent most his time surrounded by his family who he loved so much. On days he wouldn’t be outside doing yard work or fixing lawn mowers he would drive down to the arena to watch his son’s and grandkids rope.

Lourdes is survived by his wife Olga Tavarez, Daughter Paula Garcia and husband Juan Garcia, Daughter Enriqueta Guevara and husband Roberto Guevara, Son Lourdes Tavarez Jr and wife Annette Tavarez, Son Sammy Tavarez and Michelle Morris, Victor Tavarez and wife Roxanne Tavarez all from crane, Tx. Son Basilio Tavarez and wife Cindy Tavarez of Monahans, Texas . Daughter Armida Flores and husband Raul Meraz of Midland, Texas. He is also survived by 21 grandkids and 20 great grandkids.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home, in Crane Tx. The rosary will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at 7pm at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1pm, at the Good Shepherd Church, burial will follow at the Crane Cemetery.
