LOUISE MATHIS MORGAN
CRANE: Louise Mathis Morgan, 80 of Crane, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Regency Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Crane County Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Louise was born on January 11, 1931 in Big Lake, Texas. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Crane. She married Gordon Morgan in September of 2009 in Crane. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gray Pettit and Mamie Louise Pettit; her first husband, Charles A. "Toots" Mathis; her daughter, Debbie Robnett; a grandson, Bucky Mathis; and one brother, William Harold Pettit.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon Morgan of Crane; a son, Danny Wayne Mathis and his wife Lisa of Caldwell, Idaho; two brothers, Chester Pettit and Bobby Pettit, both of Crane; four grandchildren, Brandi Mathis, Charla Robnett, Misty Robnett, and Tassy Mathis; one great grandchild, Klara Kohn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
