LIZZIE MAE EARLY

CRANE: Lizzie Mae Early, 90 of Crane, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at her home in Crane.

Viewing will be held in Crane on Friday. A second viewing will be held on Sunday and Monday in Brady, with the family receiving friends on Monday from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Live Oak Cemetery in Brady. Local arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane, with arrangements in Brady under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Early was born on June 23, 1919 in Comanche County, Texas to William Louis and Sarah Talley Shaffer. She was a homemaker; and a longtime resident of Crane, living there since 1951. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and the Fireman's Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Full Gospel Church in Brady.
Mrs. Early was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Lewis Early in 1980; and her son, Travis Wayne Early in 1941.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Michael Early Sr. and his wife Deborah of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her daughter, Vicki LaRue Schenkman and her husband Bob of Crane; a sister, Glenda Maxine Kemmitz of Brady; seven grandchildren, Ronnie Michael Early Jr. and his wife Kristi of Tallulah Falls, Georgia, Alan Moore and his wife Michelle of Raleigh, North Carolina, Brian Moore and his wife Mandy of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Sarah Williamson and her husband Clint of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Michele Cloyd and her husband Don of Katy, Texas, Benjamin Schenkman and his wife Jennifer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Joseph Schenkman and his wife Melissa of Midland, Texas; and 14 great grandchildren.
