Leon Tarpley

Floyd Leon Tarpley, 80, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Crane, TX. Leon was born on January 4, 1942 in Bonham, TX to Leonard Leon and Nettie Laverne Tarpley. Leon married Peggy Ann Tarpley on June 23, 1967.

T&T Pipe and Supply, Inc was his pride and joy which he started April 1, 1984.

Leon is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Ann Tarpley of Crane, TX; daughters Dondi Tarpley Tischler and husband Randy Tischler of Weatherford, TX; Della Tarpley Gray and husband David Gray of Lubbock, TX; Devin Tarpley Carman and husband Randy Carman of Crane, TX; two sisters Barbara Tarpley Leach and husband Walter Leach of Crane, TX and Pamela Tarpley of Abilene, TX.

Leon took great pride in being called Papa by his grandkids Ashley Stapleton Christ, Randy Mack Tischler, Casey Stapleton, Chelsea Smitherman, Carly Merket, Garrett Tarpley, Braden Cain, Caden Cain and his eleven great grandkids.

Leon is preceded in death by his father Leonard Leon Tarpley; his mother Nettie Laverne Tarpley; brothers Lenwood Sr, Leonard Weldon, Ronald Lee and sister Lou Ann Tarpley Chambers Kennedy.
