Juan Lujan Hernandez

Juan Lujan Hernandez, 79, of McCamey, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at his home.
Rosary will be said at 7pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCamey with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Juan was born on June 29, 1932 in Mexico. He was a retired farmer; and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He had lived in McCamey since 1982. He was preceded in death by his son, Efren Hernandez; a great-grandson, Diago Jesus Martinez; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Santos Juana Hernandez of McCamey; three sons, Juan Hernandez Jr. of Odessa, Aurelio Hernandez of Mexico, and Eliseo Hernandez of McCamey; seven daughters, Sofia Hernandez and Maria Garcia both of Seminole, Luz Aurora Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Wenceslada Hernandez, and Anetali Chavez all of Mexico, and Leticia Urias of McCamey; two sisters, Juliana Pando of Odessa, and Paz Hernandez of Mexico; 43 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
