Juan Raul “El Comstock” Garza Zuñiga Sr.

August 02, 1948 - June 19, 2023

 

Juan Garza Sr. went to his eternal home with our Heavenly Father on June 19, 2023. He was born on August 02, 1948 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.

 

He is survived by his wife, Elva Leticia Garza, his children, Paulina, Eunice, Ricardo, Juan Jr, Jaime, and Josue Garza. He had 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his father, Alfredo Garza Sr, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Zuñiga, his sister Minerva Valdez and brother Jaime Garza Sr.

 

As a youth, he enjoyed playing baseball in Acuña. Later as an adult he enjoyed watching baseball, soccer, boxing, and classic movies. He also enjoyed dancing and listening to music, cooking out with family and friends. He worked 25+ years in the oil field and really loved his job. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He will be missed dearly.
