Juan Francisco Castilla “Paco” passed away unexpectedly in Crane, Texas on November 24th 2022 at the age of 44. Paco was born on January 29th 1978 in Del Rio Texas to father Francisco Dimas Castilla and mother Yolanda Esparza De Castilla.
He lived most of his childhood in Iraan, Texas. Then graduated from Crane High School in 1996 and was currently working for Chevron as a Senior Facility Operator.
If you knew Paco you knew he lived his life for his children. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Paco enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Fidel, watching the Cowboys play and traveling with his children.
Paco is preceded in death by abuelos Francisco and Estela Esparza, abuelo Dimas Treviño Castilla and cousin Fidel Garcia III.
Paco is survived by his mother (his rock) Yolanda Esparza De Castilla from Crane Texas; father Francisco Dimas Castilla (Sylvia) from Iraan, Texas; sister Jasmin Lopez ; brothers Alan Castilla (Jessica); Ivan Castilla; his children Juan Marcos Castilla, Matthew Castilla, Isabel Castilla, Cristian Alessandro Castilla, Paulina Castilla, fiancé Janet Romero and her daughters Sofia and Olivia Romero. Nephews Joshua Allen Lopez, Alonzo Castilla, nieces Chloe Ann Lopez, Julieta and Valentina Castilla.
He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His loss will be felt by many more.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Honorary pallbearers will be sons Juan Marcos Castilla, Matthew Castilla and Cristian Alessandro Castilla, brothers Alan Castilla and Ivan Castilla, cousins Jose D. Castilla and Gustavo Castilla.
Visitation will be held at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Homes & Chapel 1503 S Gaston Crane, Tx on
Thursday December 1st beginning at 11am with a rosary at 7pm.
Mass will be held Friday December 2nd at Good Shepherd Catholic Church located at
810 S Virginia in Crane Tx beginning at 11am with burial to follow.
The Castilla family would like to thank the many friends and family who have given us support and comfort during this most difficult time.
Family and Friends are invited to join us for a food gathering after the burial at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Food donations can be dropped off at the church on Friday starting at 10AM.
