Joy Sauders

Joy Sauders of McCamey TX went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, October 17, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital, Midland TX.

Joy was born April 26, 1937 to Claude and Crystel (Ersyal) Johnstone, in Henderson County Texas. Joy was a longtime resident of McCamey, moving here from Hobbs, NM. She married Murray Sauders on January 1, 1986. She was a partner with Murray in the Ministry, working hand in hand with him, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Joy was also known for her excellent cooking; and she also enjoyed sewing when time permitted.

Joy is survived by her husband Murray Sauders of the home and children Shanon Sauders, Cheryl Bullard, David W. Jones. Her sons in laws are Tom Bullard and Dale Sauders. Also surviving are two brothers, Donald Johnstone and his wife Mary Lou, and Bill Johnstone. Joy has 6 grand children and 6 great-grand children.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Crystal Johnstone, infant sister Shirley Johnstone.
