JOHNNIE FAY DIAMOND
CRANE: Johnnie Fay Diamond, 45 of Odessa, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the Home Hospice House in Odessa.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane with Reverend John Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Johnnie was born on March 28, 1963 in Loraine, Texas. She was a homemaker and had lived in Odessa for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley McCartney; and a daughter, Jill Marie McCartney.
Johnnie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Diamond of Odessa; two daughters, Teah Marie Zavala and her husband Marcus, Sr., and Jennifer Ann Diamond and her husband Zack Brazell, all of Odessa; a son, Christopher William Diamond of Odessa; five grandchildren, Krystal Zavala, Marcus Zavala,Jr, and Jadon Zavala, Joshua Brazell, and Nicole Brazell; four brothers, Jack McCartney of Sweetwater, Jake McCartney and J.D. McCartney, both of Lubbock, and Jasper McCartney of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Judy McCartney, Janet McCartney, Jeanie Leverett, and Kay Leverett, all of Corpus Christi; and her mother-in-law, Evelyn Diamond of Crane.
