Jeannie Mae Lockhart, 61, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at her home.
Memorial Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Crane. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Jeannie was born on March 20, 1954, in Winnsboro, Texas. She was a homemaker and had lived in Crane since 1970. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Jeannie loved to read, sew and cook. She enjoyed spending time doing crossword and word search puzzles. Jeannie loved her church and her Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Russom (Cissy); and a brother, Tom Russom.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, William Lockhart, Jr. of Crane; her daughter, Wakeisha Lockhart of Crane; her mother, Zana Lindley of Winnsboro; four brothers, Bobby Gene Russom, Jerry Ray Russom, Gary Lynn Russom, and Billy Joe Russom, all of Winnsboro; and two sisters, Liz Allen of Mineola, and Sandra Kaye Russom of Winnsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
