McCamey: Jack L. Jones, 73 of McCamey, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey with Reverend David Snodgrass officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
Jack was born on August 4, 1937 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He had worked for the City of McCamey for 10 years; and had attended the First Assembly of God Church in McCamey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Effie Jones; two brothers, Haskell "Hack" Jones, and Bobby Lee Jones; and a sister, Pat Hughes.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie R. Jones of McCamey; his son, John Paul Jones of Austin; two daughters, Bronda Ann Zamora of McCamey, and Kena Lynn Thomas of Dallas; his sister, Joyce Ann Lewis of Sherman, TX; 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
