Ida Carlene Crossland

Ida Carlene Wills Crossland, 77, of McCamey, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Odessa.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in McCamey with Reverend Murray Sauders officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Carlene was born on September 25, 1934 in Iraan, Texas to Carl and Erin Wills. She married Frank Crossland in Iraan on May 22, 1953. She had lived in McCamey since 1954. Carlene enjoyed working outside in her garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Garden Club; and the First Baptist Church.
Carlene is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Crossland of McCamey; two daughters, Mary Glenn and Barbara Dale both of McCamey; two sons, Richard Crossland and his wife Debra of McCamey, and Ronnie Crossland and his wife Norma of Midland; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Carlene is also survived by one sister, Sue Enlow of Missouri; two sister-in-laws, Mary VanZandt of San Angelo, and Iola Mills of Ohio; one brother-in-law, Archie Crossland his wife Naomi of Brownwood, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
