Guadalupe Soto

Guadalupe “Lupe” Soto, 49, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Odessa.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 8, 2014, at the Crane County Exhibition Building with Reverend Jimmy Carrasco officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Lupe was born on June 18, 1965, in Del Rio, Texas. He married his wife Melinda Galindo on February 9, 2008. Lupe was a water hauler and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall.

He is survived by his wife Melinda of Crane; two sons, Manuel Andres Soto, and Fernando Soto; one daughter, Jenny Lynn Soto; two grandkids, Evan and Joseph Soto, all from Americas, Georgia. Lupe has two stepsons, Fabien Galindo of San Antonio, and Tre Bishop of Crane; and one step daughter, Jayla Bishop of Crane; his parents, Fernando and Anastasia Soto of Houston; one brother, John Soto of Houston, two sisters, Olga Soto of Houston; and Debbie Soto of Crane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brother and sister-in-laws.

Lupe is preceded in death by his son, Fernando Soto; grandmother, Eufemia Rodriguez, and his uncle, Braudilo Sanchez.
