Frankie Heredia

December 11, 1959 — September 2, 2012

Frank Garcia Heredia (Frankie or Big Daddy Frank) left this world to be with the Lord on September 2, 2012. He was born on December 11, 1959 to Alfren and Otilia Heredia. He graduated in 1979 from Crane High School. He was employed with the City of Crane since February 1986. He was in the sanitation department. He married Malissa Sandoval on July 14, 1985. They raised six children. They always had a house full of kids including neighbors, nieces, nephews and anyone else who wanted to be loved.

He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church; he played the drums in the choir. He loved playing cards with his friends from Girvin, Iraan, and Crane. He had the love of music, he was also known as the D. J. Tejano Blaster for over 20 years. He coached Little Dribblers and girls softball for over 15 years and went undefeated for many seasons. He enjoyed riding in his 1937 Chevy Coupe and hanging out with all his friends at the car shows. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Malissa, three daughters and three sons Adon Monique Torres husband Damien stationed in Germany, Angelina Villa from Amarillo, Anissa Suniga of Crane, Anthony Villa stationed in Afghanistan, Andrew Villa and Rito Suniga of Crane. Father Alfren Heredia wife Rosa of Odessa, two brothers, Edward Heredia wife Micaela, Roy Heredia all of Crane two sisters Marivel Murguia husband Salvador of Crane and Brenda Ramos, husband Sergio of Odessa. He had three grandchildren Damien and Tatiana Torres of Colorado and Urijah Basaldua of Amarillo; four sister-in-law Terri Suniga husband Rito, Adonica Nunez husband Chris, Antonia Reyes, all of Odessa and one brother-in-law Christopher Yanez of Odessa and sister in law Corina Rivas of Crane; father-in-law Paul Sandoval of Crane and mother- in-law Matilda Sandoval of Odessa. Those special to his heart are Siera Alderate, Dominic Rivas, Ludy Heredia all of Crane. He had 28 nieces and nephew and 9 great nieces and nephews. He was a Godfather to 25 Godchildren. He has several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother Otilia Heredia.

Rosary will be said at 7pm on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Crane. Mass will be held at 11am at the Church on Saturday, September 8, 2012 with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Pallbearers will be Ramiro Zarate, Julio (Bear) Carrasco, Edward Heredia Sr., Roy Heredia Sr., Anthony Villa and Andrew Villa. Honorary Pallbearers will be Salvador Murguia, Jose Rodriguez, Ricky Carrera, Sergio Ramos, Jacob Nunez and Rito Suniga.
