Frances F. Creighton, 88, died on March 18, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Care Center in San Angelo.
Mrs. Creighton was born September 26, 1921, in Barstow, Texas to Alva and Maude Fulgim. She married J.T. Creighton December 21, 1940 in Carlsbad, NM. He preceded her in death in 1980. Throughout their married life, they ranched in West Texas, moving to Upton County in 1965.
Mrs. Creighton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rankin, and was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge of McCamey.
Mrs. Creighton was also preceded in death by her parents and five younger sisters.
Services conducted by Rev. Randy Bush of San Angelo, will be held at First Baptist Church of Rankin at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 22, 2010 in Rankin. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22nd from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at First Baptist Church of Rankin.
Survivors include: children, Jean Creighton Bailey of Ransom Canyon, Jay (Pat) Creighton of Rosanky, and Fran (Bob) Phillips of San Angelo. Grandchildren include: Wanda (Ed) LaGrave of Ransom Canyon, Creighton Bailey of Austin, Justin (Kendra) Creighton of Rockne, Roann (Brent) Bartsch, of Dale
Jim (Stacie) Phillips, of San Angelo, and Wendy (Sam) Justiss, of Ozona. Great grandchildren include: Josh, Jake, Mairin, and Vivian LaGrave, Jesse, Jake, and Jett Creighton, Bradie and Bailey Bartsch, Emmy and Kylie Phillips, Trace, Jarett, and Adyson Justiss. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews
