Felix Dominguez Jr. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the age of 83. He had been a resident of Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Felix was born January 3, 1933, in Fort Davis, Texas to Felis Dominguez Sr. and Anita Granado Dominguez. Felix married Barbara Ellison on March 30, 1984, in Fort Davis, Texas. Prior to moving to Crane, Felix retired from the maintenance department at The McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis, Texas.
Siblings who preceded him in death are Elvira McGiver, Becky Garza, Lucia Benavidez, and Raul Dominguez.
Felix is survived by his wife Barbara of Crane, Texas; he has two sons, Henry Dominguez and his wife Regina of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Michael Dominguez of Austin, Texas; one step-daughter, Tamara Maiera of Springfield, Oregon.
He has one brother, Juan Dominguez and his wife Lupe of Fort Davis, Texas; three sisters, Mary Ann Mendias and her husband Ben of Van Horn, Texas, Aurora Acosta of Marfa, Texas, and Otelia Darcy of Pleasant Farms, Texas; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016,
at 10:00 AM at the Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crane, Texas.
