Eufemia Campos Rizo, 92, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the McCamey Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 3pm on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Eufemia was born on May 25, 1923, in Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Eufemia had lived in Crane for 12 years. She loved to read, go to movies, and listen to music. Eufemia was an excellent cook and made wonderful tortillas.
She is survived by five sons, Juan Rizo of Big Spring, Jesus Rizo of Crane, Jose Rizo of Mexico, Fernando Rizo of Crane, and Silverio Rizo of Del Rio; four daughter, Victoria Gonzales of Crane, Luce Maria Lugo, Blanca DuÃ±es, and DeAnna Cerda, all of Mexico; one brother, Teodoro Campos of Mexico; three sisters, Juanita Rios of San Jose, CA, Victoria Santana of Mexico, and Conseption Rodriguez of Del Rio; 36 grandchildren; and numerous great, and great-great grandchildren.
