Delia Ramirez

Delia Ramirez 74, of Crane, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Delia was born on March 31, 1946, in Mexico. She had lived in Crane since 1973. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Delia loved to work in her garden, staying busy. She was a great cook, a wonderful mom and grandmother. Delia enjoyed life and was always happy.

Delia was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Petra Guevarra; her husband, Arturo Ramirez; a daughter, Gloria Ramirez; and three sisters.

She is survived by her children: Martha Paez and husband Jose of Crane, Eddie Ramirez and wife Nora of Crane, Efrain Ramirez of Crane, and Angie Tarin and husband Juan of Odessa; three brothers, Sabino Guevarra of Odessa, Carlos Guevarra of Andrews, and Mario Guevarra of Odessa; two sisters, Eva Hernandez and Tita Madrid and husband Raul all of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery.
