Delfina Trammell

McCamey: Delfina Granado Trammell, 82 of McCamey, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey with Angel Armendarez officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.

Mrs. Trammell was born on November 1, 1927 in Presidio, Texas to Jose and Elena Granado. She had lived in McCamey most all of her life. She was an ordained minister and a member of the Templo Neuevo Vida.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Rudolph and Henry Martinez; two brothers, Apolonio and Jose Granado; and three sisters, Juana Carrasco, Maria Gonzales, and Eloisa Molina.

Survivors include her husband, Ross Trammell of McCamey; two sons, Louis Martinez, Jr. and his wife Maria, and Robert Martinez and his wife Alma all of McCamey; two daughters, Mary Coe and her husband Don of Odessa, and Sandra Gonzales and her husband Apolonio of Rankin; two brothers, Felipe Granado of Odessa, and Manuel Granado of McCamey; four sisters, Pompose Molina and Elena Garcia both of McCamey, Belsora Valenzuela of Odessa, and Carmen Wethington of Florence, TX; 10 grandchildren Liz Ibarra, Brenda Lopez, Linda Cuellar, Jason Martinez, Angelica Gomez, Donny Coe, Sarah Reams, Joshua Johnson, Chris Rubio, and Rudolph Zamora; 14 great-grandchildren Kassandra Ibarra, Damien, Olivia, and Amanda Ortiz, Nathaniel Venegas, John Cuellar, Jr. and Angel Louis Cuellar, Cierra Martinez, Chloe Gomez, Brody Berryhill, John, Jacob, and Jeremy Johnson, and Timothy Johnson; and 3 great-great grandchildren, Nyra Ortiz, Bella Ortiz, and Malaki Venegas.
