CRANE: Dee Benton, 49 of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Crane Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Crane. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Dee was born on April 25, 1959 in Crane. She was a lifetime resident of Crane, and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Cory Ross Benton on October 4, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Benton of Crane; a brother, David Thurman of Rowlett, Texas; and a sister, Mitzi Thurman of East Ridge, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
