David Michael Armendarez, of McAllen Texas was called home by our Heavenly Father on June 26, 2014, while working in Rochelle, Illinois. He was 28 years old.

David was born in Crane, Texas on April 21, 1986. He was a long time resident of McCamey Texas. David was a devoted husband and father. He was a faithful Catholic. His bible was never far from his reach. David's life revolved around family and friends. David was employed by airways services as a traveling wind technician.

David was preceded in death by his Grandfather Celedonio Ruiz; Uncle David Ruiz; Grandfather Eddie Armendarez; and his Grandmother Gloria Armendarez.

David is survived by his wife Monica Holguin Armendarez of McAllen; 3 sons, Jeremiah Michael, and Davin Dash, both of McAllen, Kenneth Slade of San Angelo; 1 daughter Kianna Imani (Nana Bug) of McAllen; his Parents, Maria Estella McKee & James McKee of McAllen; Father Albert Armendarez of McCamey; Grandmother Francisca Ruiz of McCamey; 4 Brothers, Carlos Armendarez of Odessa, Dylan Armendarez of Corpus Christi, Isaac Aguilar of Odessa, Elijah Armendarez of McCamey; 3 sisters Nina Stewart of Killeen, Kayla McKee-Mendoza of Wink, Laura Baiza of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 7:00pm at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church in McCamey with Pastor Angel Armendarez officiating.
David will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey, Texas.
