Carla Jo Harper

Carla Jo Haynes Harper, 61, of Crane, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Odessa.

Carla was born on April 29, 1959 in Kermit, Texas. She was the second youngest of 9 children. She married the love of her life in 1975 and they were married for 45 years.

She is survived by her loving husband Mike Harper; a son Casey Harper & daughter in law Amber; 20 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Haynes of Abilene; 2 brothers, Clifford Haynes of Wink, and Jimmy Haynes of Silsbee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall & Maxine Haynes and 5 brothers, Don Hawley, Gary Haynes, Floyd Haynes, Ed Wilcox, and J.R.Haynes.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery.
