Calvin Morris, 79, of Crane, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Calvin was born on August 12, 1935, in Lincoln County, New Mexico. He had retired from the Forest Service as a fire fighter.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Morris of Crane; two sons, Bryan Morris, and William Calvin Morris, both of Crane; two daughters, Melody Lynn Porter of Ruidoso, New Mexico, and Misty Thomas of Crane; one brother, Hubert Morris of St. Johns, Arizona; two sisters, Jeanette Hale of Nutrioso, Arizona, and Conley Faye Keasler of Marshall, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
