Bruce Michael Winn, 67, of Rankin, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.

Graveside Service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the Rankin Cemetery in Rankin. Services are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.

Bruce was born on November 26, 1947, in Eureka, Kansas. He graduated in 1966 from Canyon High School. He was a College Graduate from University of Texas Permian Basin in 1974. He worked as a High School teacher and football coach in early years then worked the last 35 years in the oil business across various states.

Bruce was an active member of the Rankin County Hospital District Board. He was active in his community. He loved golf, family and friends. He will be remembered as “A very loyal and generous friend.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Jane Winn of Rankin.

He is survived by his son Stephen Winn and his wife Julie of Tucson, AZ; two granddaughters, Michaela Winn and Lauren Winn, both of Tucson, AZ , two brothers, Robert Winn and wife Maudi of Odessa and Brad Winn of Brownwood, Texas; his sister, Marilyn Smith and her husband Chris of Manchester, OK.
