Billy Smart

Billy Ray "BR" Smart was born on September 12, 1956, in Iraan to Billy and Pansy Smart. He graciously went to be with The Lord after a long tough battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Iraan at 4pm on Sunday July 27th then to follow with a graveside service at Restland Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy Joe Smart; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. HP Kennedy; Mr. and Mrs. Mack Smart; a special Uncle Charles Smart, and recently his uncle Floyd Kennedy and many others.

He is survived by his mom Pansy Nell Smart of Iraan; his brother Mike Smart and wife Kim of McCamey; his sister Cathy Ervine and husband Ronnie of Iraan, his sister Lanelle Duginski and Yancey Stephens of Iraan and sister Miranda K Ruiz and husband Julio of San Antonio. Nephews Davon Smart of San Antonio, Kevin Smart of Iraan, Billy Frank and wife Lillie of Iraan, and Ovidio Mendoza Jr and wife Violet of Odessa. Nieces Julie Huston and husband Kyle of Spring TX, and Jana Koschak and husband David of Isaburg Vermont. Great nieces/nephews Isaac, Ivy and Ivan Mendoza of Iraan, Aalyiah and Ahdan Mendoza of Odessa and baby Henry Huston of Spring TX.
Finally his beloved dogs FiFi Smart (Head of Security) and Donk Smart (Head of Ranch Security). These dogs loved him unconditionally. FiFi was his best bud and daily companion guarding him from all that came around. This precious dog never left his side along with Princess and were with him until the very end. He shall be greatly missed, forever loved and always remembered.
