Bettye Coffey

Bettye Jo Coffey, 68, went to be with Jesus and family on October 01, 2018, at Medical City North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas, after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 9am until 8pm.

Bettye was born on September 27, 1950, in Clovis, NM. She grew up in Crane and graduated from Crane High School. She went on to earn her nursing license and practiced a successful career as a nurse. Bettye was one of the kindest people one could ever meet; she opened her heart to everyone. She will be sorely missed by family, friends, and acquaintances.

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents James Olis and Rubye Mae Coffey and her brother, Thomas Coffey.

She is survived by her three children, Jennifer Loftin, Angela Moore, and Andrew Greathouse all of North Richland Hills, and one sister Anna Coffey Burns of Hobbs, NM. She is also survived by ten grandchildren whom she cherished.
