Betty Lowery

November 16, 1959 — May 1, 2021

Betty Darlene Lowery, 61, of Crane, died unexpectedly May 1, 2021, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 16, 1959, in Odessa, to John R. Long and Alice (Alford) Long.

Betty grew up in Odessa, Texas, where she attended Odessa High School.

Betty married the love of her life, Evan Lowery, and settled in Crane, Texas. They celebrated 34 years of marriage on New Year's Eve. They had two sons together, Cord and Jacob, and five grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her. She had a heart of gold and was the type of person to put everyone before herself. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice; her step-father, Donald Glover; brothers, Royce and Kevin Long; sister, Donna Glover; and niece Alicia Long.

Betty is survived by her husband, Evan Lowery; son, Cord Lowery, his wife, CarrieAnn Lowery, and children, Seth and Zachary, of Crane; son, Jacob Lowery, his fiancé, Samantha Milligan, and children, Brooklynne, Tanner, and Hinzlei, of Crane; brother, Johnny Long, his wife Donya, of Round Rock; sisters, Cathy Long, of Odessa; Michelle Thole., her husband, Patrick, of San Antonio; Lisa Glover of Mineral Wells; Jamie Lovell, her husband Michael, of Cleburne; and many nieces and nephews.
