VISITATION WILL BE BEGIN AT 11:30 AT SHAFFER-NICHOLS FUNERAL HOME IN MCCAMEY AND SERVICE WILL FOLLOW AT 2:00 AT THE RESTHAVEN CEMETERY IN MCCAMEY.
SHE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN MCCAMEY, TEXAS SHE WAS BORN ON FEB.25,1932 TO D.M. PERRY AND
MARQUERITE PERRY. SHE MARRIED DARRELL WAYNE GRAVES ON AUG.29,1950 IN MCCAMEY, TEXAS.
SHE WAS LOVING MOTHER AND CHERISHED HER GRANDCHILDREN DEARLY. NEVER MISSING ANY
SPORTS EVENTS AND LOVED THE MCCAMEY BADGERS. SHE WAS A BADGER TWIRLER AND PLAYED
PERCUSSION IN THE BAND. SHE LOVED EVERY HOLIDAY ESPECIALLY CHRISTMAS, DECORATING THE
CHRISTMAS TREE WITH HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN, JUST AFTER THANKSGIVING DINNER
SHE WORKED AS ACTIVITY DIRECTOR AT THE MCCAMEY NURSING HOME FOR 10 YRS PLUS AND
RECEIVED THE RED PLATE AWARD FROM CHANNEL 7 NEWS FOR HER OUTSTANDING WORK IN THE
COMMUNITY. SHE LOVED HER BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND ENJOYED ATTENDING FAMILY REUNIONS.
WILL BE DEARLY MISSED BUT REMEMBERED IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER.
BETTY IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS, CHARLES AND WIFE PAULA IN GRANBURY, TEXAS, PERRY GRAVES
AND WIFE KAY IN ELDORADO, AND ONE DAUGHTER CINDY KING AND HUSBAND JERRY IN MARYVILLE
TENN., SHE HAS 7 GRANDKIDS, AND 19 GREAT GRANDKIDS, AND 3 GREAT GREAT GRANDKIDS
SHE HAD 2 BROTHERS CLYDE PERRY, AND JACK PERRY, AND 4 SISTERS, PHILLIS FISHER, SHIRLEY
FARRINGTON, AND GEN ANDERSON, ONE SURVIVING SISTER NANCY MELTON.
PALLBEARERS ARE ZANE GRAVES, CHAD GRAVES, BLAKE GRAVES, TROY PERRYMAN, JEREMIE
PERRYMAN, CADE PERRYMAN, JAYDEN ARNWINE, AND JACE ARNWINE.
