AMELIA FUENTES
SHEFFIELD: Amelia Fuentes, 77 of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Iraan General Hospital in Iraan.
Mass will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Sheffield, Texas. Burial will follow in the Sheffield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kuaid Fuentes, Kent Pullig, Daniel Montejano, Harvey Flores, John Leal, and Luis Morales. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fuentes was born on June 1, 1933 in Del Rio, Texas. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Iraan and Sheffield area most all of her life. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Fuentes and his wife Karla of Iraan; two grandchildren, Kuaid and Amber both of Iraan; and two great granddaughters, Aubreigh and Brynleigh; a brother, Rosalio Montejano and his wife Emily of Iraan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
