Aline (Whitfield) Duke passed away on February 24, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was, born in Mereta TX on May 5, 1924.
Aline is survived by her daughter, Janet Jordan and son-in-law, David Jordan, of Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Patricia Duke, of Duncan, OK; and son-in law, Jack Andrew of Kerrville, TX; sister-in law, Gena Fay Jackson of San Angelo, TX; and sister-in-law, Wilma Bernard, of Ft. Worth, TX. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren including, great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted F. Duke in 1953; her sons, Billy E. Duke and Bobby F. Duke; one daughter, Carolyn Andrew.
Aline worked as a printer at the McCamey News for 35 years and retired in 1992. She moved to Oklahoma City in 2008 to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
Funeral will be Monday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. at East Side Baptist Church in McCamey, TX.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
