Alice Emily Basurto formally Alice Emily Liejs was born July 4, 1927 in Hadleigh, England and died Tuesday, March 23 at 11:20 p.m. at her home in Youngsville, LA.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane, Texas.
She was married to the late Lupe Basurto of McCamey, TX.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, Patricia Hartzell and husband Dave of Longmont, CO, Linda Young and husband Lou of Lafayette, LA, Jess Basurto and wife Carolyn of Crane, TX, Sandra Pachiotta and husband Joe of Norwalk, CA.; eleven grandchildren and twenty -one great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Lupe and daughter Delores
Sewell and her parents Alphonsus A. and Bertha Oxford Leijs.
Alice enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, singing, good food and the casino. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
